MAXIMUM PAYLOAD FOR ALL BOXES IS 10 TONS
Customers often believe that a 40 cubic yard box can hold twice as much payload as a 20 cubic yard container. This is FALSE. The size of each box is determined by the VOLUME of the material. Therefore, if you have particularly heavy material, you should order multiple 10 or 20 cubic yard containers instead of one 40 yard box. A 10 ton payload will allow our trucks to transport the material legally on the highway. Boxes that are overloaded will be returned to the customer for offloading that will include a return trip charge. All suspected heavy payloads are weighed at our facility before they are hauled to the disposal facility. |
